In a groundbreaking revelation, the notorious CL0P hackers have successfully breached the impenetrable fortress of organizations that rely on Oracle’s E-Business Suite, proving once again that security flaws are not, in fact, just bedtime stories told by cybersecurity experts to scare CEOs.
According to a recent report from the Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) and Mandiant, hackers have been exploiting this zero-day vulnerability in Oracle’s software since August 9, 2025. Why so long, you ask? Well, apparently, it’s taken that long to convince everyone that Oracle’s software could possibly have a flaw at all.
John Hultquist, chief analyst, assured companies affected that they were working on assessing the scope of the incident. However, it’s likely they’ll need more than a magnifying glass and a detective hat to crack this particular case. Maybe investing in a crystal ball might help next time?
