๐Ÿšจ Fake Cyber Onion Ad: Hackers hate this one weird trick.

In an unprecedented move, CISA is urging the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies to leap into their trusty time machines and patch Sitecore instances by September 25, 2025. Apparently, CISA believes government agencies have access to more than just the latest Windows updates.

The flaw, whimsically named CVE-2025-53690, boasts a jaw-dropping CVSS score of 9.0 out of 10.0. Experts say it’s as if hackers were given the keys to the cyber kingdom, only to realize they misplaced them under a very large digital doormat.

While federal agencies ponder the mysteries of time travel, the rest of us are left wondering if perhaps CISA and Sitecore could have simply sent a strongly-worded email to potential cyber criminals, asking them to embrace a more considerate approach to hacking.
